I’m Naomi.  In June 2010, my husband Peter, my son Israel and I packed up and made the very long trek from our home in Maryland to settle down in Missouri.  We love it here (though we love Maryland as well).  Our little family is expecting a new addition of a baby girl in January 2011.  I use this blog to keep our family and friends up-to-date on our lives; to bookmark recipes and projects I’d like to attempt; to scrapbook those I’ve already attempted and have had some measure of success with; and to record my impressions of some issues facing women, mothers, the church, our culture, and so on.
